Edward
Gorringe (Chief Executive)
Edward Gorringe joined the Northern Ireland Judicial
Appointments Commission as Chief Executive on 11 February 2008.
Edward's background is in financial management and he is a
Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
After training in the private sector he has held management
positions in local government, central government and the
voluntary sector.
Prior to joining NIJAC he was Chief Executive of the Police
Rehabilitation and Retraining Trust (PRRT), an NIO sponsored
body who provided healthcare, education and careers guidance to
retired police officers and those approaching the end of their
police service.

Adeline Frew
Adeline Frew joined the Northern Ireland Judicial
Appointments Commission in September 2007 and is Head of
Diversity and Communications.
With over 20 years experience gained in the private, public,
community and voluntary sectors, Adeline most recently worked at
the British Council where she
was responsible for providing Equality and Human Resource
consultancy to management and staff in Northern Ireland and overseas.
Adeline served 5 productive and rewarding years on the EU
funded Development Partnership "Diversity Works" led by
Disability Action.
In her current role, Adeline is responsible for the
development and implementation of Diversity, Communication and
Outreach Strategies to promote and stimulate interest in
judicial service and to ensure career opportunities are
understood and appeal to a wide range of candidates.

Helen
Anderson
Helen joined the Commission in October 2007 as Head of
Appointments.Helen Anderson is a Chartered Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Personnel
and Development (CIPD) and has over seventeen years in the Human Resources
profession. Helen is qualified to Levels A and B in Occupational Testing.
Helen has been employed in a range
of senior manager and consultancy roles in the field of Human
Resources in the public and voluntary sectors.
Helen specialises in the areas of
recruitment and equality, coaching, learning and organisational
development - particularly the development of competency
frameworks.
As a member of the Senior
Management Team, Helen is responsible for supporting the
Commission in the development, review and implementation of its
Appointments Strategy and Policy.
Outside of work Helen is a busy
mother of three children and voluntarily supports a number of
forums. She is Membership Advisor for the Northern Ireland
Branch Committee of the CIPD and an active fundraiser for her
children's primary school.

Conor
Curran
Conor Curran joined the Northern Ireland Judicial
Appointments Commission in December 2007 and is Deputy Head of
Diversity and Communications.
Conor
is a qualified Employment Lawyer, having previously
worked in London for law firms Olswang and Boyes Turner before
returning to Northern Ireland.
Conor is also a qualified Diversity Trainer, HR Consultant
and
Member of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development
(CIPD) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
In his current role, Conor
is responsible for the development of the
Commission's Diversity, Communications and Outreach Strategies and the
operational management of the Diversity &
Communications Team.

Andy
Millar
Andy Millar joined the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments
Commission in October 2007 and is Deputy Head of Appointments.
Andy previously worked in the public sector as a Personnel and
HR Manager.
In his current role, Andy is responsible for operational
management of the Appointments Team and assists in the development and
implementation of Appointments Policies and Procedure.

Tim
Horgan
Tim Horgan has 20 years experience in the Northern Ireland
Court Service. During this time he has obtained an Honours
Degree in Business and an OCR Level 4 NVQ in Management.
On the establishment of the Northern Ireland Judicial
Appointments Commission in 2005 Tim took on responsibility for
Corporate Governance and Support Services including Head of the
Finance and Budgeting Team.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, Tim contributes to
the planning and monitoring process and the full range of
activities which lie within the Commission.
